Back in September I attended the ‘Digital Imaging Show’ when it came to Exeter. This was a great day to network with other photographers, upgrade my knowledge from a number of seminars, and get to know some of the companies who supply to photographers.
There were a number of wedding book / wedding album printers there, and I fell in love with the look, feel and quality of the books by one maker in particular. I’d been married myself a few weeks earlier, and I ordered an album of my own wedding from them straight away. It arrived quickly from Poland and looked amazing. I knew I wanted the same top-of-the-line quality for my wedding couples.
Seeing one of these wedding books ‘in the flesh’ sold it to me instantly, so of course I wanted a sample to show to the brides and grooms I work with. A couple of weeks ago I ordered a book using a selection of pictures from a lovely wedding I photographed at Torre Abbey in November.
The big 12″ square albums are my preferred size; it’s possible to go up to 18″ x 12″ which look amazing but for my tastes is a little unwieldy. I ordered the book with a matching box which helps protect it from wear and tear when you’re not looking at it.
